Data
Every file the site uses, and where it came from. Generated 2026-08-26 18:58 UTC from GHCN-Daily 3.34-upd-2026082518.
Site data (JSON)
index.json โ all stations, headline numbers, baseline and thresholds.
Temperatures in the JSON are NOAA's native tenths of ยฐC (daily.json) or ยฐC (summaries); threshold keys are whole ยฐF.
daily.json index i is start + i days; null means no valid observation; flagged lists withheld values with their NOAA quality flag.
National set
us/index.json โ every US station with a 50+ year record (columns listed in the file), and matrix-warm70.bin, matrix-hot95.bin, matrix-frost32.bin โ int16 station ร year matrices (row order = index order,
columns from matrix.year0; โ1 = no data, values below โ1 encode a lower bound as โ(n+2)). Each station also has
its own stations/<ID>/summary.json and daily.json at the same paths as above.
